The Parent Center is a resource for parents who want to become more involved in their child’s education but need help. It provides workshops and classes in such areas as ESL (English as a Second Language), learning how to help your child with the writing process, and going over upcoming math standards for your child’s grade level. The director can also help parents communicate with their child’s teacher and locate other useful resources in the community.
For information stop by room 47 or call Ofelia Gomez at 818-800-7198.
The center is open Monday through Friday, 8am - 11am.
For upcoming Parent Center workshops please see the school calendar. For more information about district parent center programs see the LAUSD parent services website.
